Sonoridade anacrônica

Nouvelle Vague é um coletivo musical francês arranjado por Marc Collin e por Oliver Libaux. O nome da banda refere-se simultaneamente à sua "francesidade", ao movimento artístico do cinema francês nouvelle vague, à fonte de suas canções (covers de músicas punk e new wave dos anos 80) e ao uso do estilo bossa nova. Na minha opinião, eles transformam as músicas com originalidade e o resultado é uma surpresa criativa e cativante.

Em 2005, o cover de "I melt with you", canção da banda Modern English, integrou a trilha sonora do filme, Mr. and Mrs. Smith. Pra mim, essa música é como uma bala doce que se chupa com os ouvidos.
